Your Story ~
For years now I have had the honor of hearing from pet owners ~
their love for a particular animal, the way it added to life, and the
difficulty of letting go when that lifespan ends.
Sometimes sharing begins a process of healing, of letting go of the
void, and filling it with treasured memories.
If you have a story you'd like to share, whether of a past pet or one/s in your life now,  please let me know and I would
be glad to post your words here for other pet-people to read...
Thanks !

from CA:

We adopted our dog when he was only seven weeks old... It was love at first sight- just that sense that you know. He went everywhere with us- from the beach each August, to my parents' house in Seattle, and loved everyone he met...We are certain we'll never replace him, and miss him very much ~

from MI:

She was the last rescued pup we adopted, and by far the sweetest of any...she wanted most of all to be in my lap...she knew before I did when my husband was on his way home...she was my blanket in January ... ~

from OH:

This girl was born without sight but it never slowed her down...she was a friend to all she knew...it chokes me up to write about her...~

from WA:

We are convinced by his presence that some things are truly meant to be...he was picked up roaming the side of an interstate when our son lured him to the car...he is more human than canine, only nicer...he
is greatly missed, yet I sense him with us still ~

from VA:

I don't know where to begin...we loved her so very much- and had her with us since she was a tiny puppy...the accident was and is such a shock, especially to me...the way a dog connects to one family member most of all- and that was to me...I could write a book about all her silly behavior, so endearing to me and images I will keep... ~
